(Raoul Bova), Lorenzo (Ricky Memphis), Piero (Luca Bizzarri), Luisa (Barbora Bobulova), Virgilio (Paolo Kessisoglu), Francesca (Ambra Angiolini): cosa hanno in comune questi trentottenni? Semplice, 20 anni fa erano compagni di scuola. Ma sopratutto erano amici, erano un gruppo. Poi è successo qualcosa e il gruppo si è frantumato. Ma tra poco torneranno ad esserlo, almeno per qualche giorno: il Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione ha annullato il loro esame di maturità e lo dovranno rifare. Pena l’annullamento di tutti i titoli successivamente conseguiti. E così li vedremo di nuovo insieme, come ai vecchi tempi, con qualche
capello di meno.
Con la voglia di risentire il sapore della giovinezza e la consapevolezza, più o meno profonda, che quel periodo è passato. Una commedia brillante e sentimentale che riporta una generazione a confrontarsi con la vita che dopo 20 anni è andata da tutte le parti, fra sogni e disillusioni.

Plot

Giorgio, Lorenzo, Piero, Luisa, Virgilio, Francesca: what do these 38-year-olds have in common? Twenty years ago they were classmates, but above all they were friends, they were a group. Then something happened and the group broke up.
Soon they’ll become a group again, at least for a few days: the Ministry of Education has annulled their high school graduation exams and they’ll have to take them again, or witness the annulment of all qualifications acquired thereafter. And so, with a few more wrinkles and a little less hair, we’ll see them together again,
like the old times.
With the desire to savor again the taste of youth, but with a greater or lesser awareness that that period has ended.

TRAMA

Following the fierce Bourbon repression of the political movements of 1828 which touched all their families, three young men from the south of Italy decide to join Giuseppe Mazzini’s “Giovane Italia”. Through four separate episodes, each reflecting the hidden pages of the birth of Italian unification, the lives of Domenico, Angelo and Salvatore will be tragically marked by their conspiratorial and revolutionary missions, balanced as they are between moral rigour and murderous impulses, the spirit of sacrifice and fear. In the background, the unknown history of the birth of the country, of implacable conflicts among the founding fathers, of the fracture between the North and the South and of the contorted roots from which will grow the Italy we now live in.

TRAMA
La trentacinquenne ALICE vive in una bella villetta di Roma nord, ha un marito, un figlio di 9 anni e tre domestici extra-comunitari. La sua caratteristica principale è la superficialità ma annovera tra le sue qualità anche l’antipatia e il classismo. La sua vita sembra un sogno dorato ma si rivelerà ben presto un incubo. Suo marito, imprenditore nel ramo dei sanitari, muore in un incidente e lei rimane sul lastrico con un debito fortissimo da saldare e con lo spauracchio che i servizi sociali le portino via il figlio. Alice deve inventarsi qualcosa per salvare la sua vita e quella del figlio e l’unico modo possibile per guadagnare molto denaro in poco tempo è fare il mestiere più antico del mondo. Si informa su internet e si fa dare una mano da una escort di professione: EVA, una trentenne bellissima apparentemente superficiale e cinica.

Thirty-five year old Alice lives in a nice house in Rome. She has a husband, a nine year old son and three immigrant housekeepers. Her life seems a beautiful dream, but it soon turns out to be a nightmare. Her husband, an intrepreneur in the field of bathroom fittings, dies in a car accident and her lawyer tells her that she is on her uppers. She now has to figure out something for saving her son’s and her own lives. The only way she finds to earn money in short time is to do the oldest job in history. She search for information on the Internet and finds someone who’s been doing this job for years: Eva. Eva is a beautiful woman in her thirties apparently superficial and cynic.

Journey to the end of a juke-box, the biggest in the world: Naples, indeed a homeland of songs, a legend which starts with the founding myth of muses. Songs and singers, musicians and poets, real and legendary characters are all protagonists of a film which crosses one the most beautiful, famous and controversial metropolises in the world, one of the very few able to embody an idea of life. The foreign, but not too foreign, glance of the Italian-American John Turturro traverses the city and its music, from the “Canto delle lavandaie del Vomero”, dated 1200, to “Napul’è” by Pino Daniele.
The film journeys from nostalgic memories to reconstructions, from singing carousels to street voices, from the Neapolitan melodramas to video-clips, from the history of songs to the stories songs tell and hide.

Four weddings, endless vicissitudes, and only one goal: finally say “I do”. Nicola, a policeman in Puglia, is a reformed ladies’ man with his heart set on marrying the daughter of the Indian ambassador. Salvatore and Chiara, a young couple with uncertain job prospects and a baby on the way, figure out how to get married for practically nothing: have their guests crash the wedding of Sabrina the showgirl and the wealthy financier Attilio Panecci. Meanwhile, a Roman prosecutor, Fabio Di Caio, is likewise hellbent on crashing the wedding of the century, but he also has to talk his elderly father out of marrying a twenty-year-old masseuse.

Guests are invited to bring friends, family, blankets, and a picnic and are encouraged to dress in their finest operatic picnic attire for an evening that promises to be full of culture and entertainment.

In case of rain or strong winds the screening is postponed to the evening of Sunday.
Each screening is free to the general public and will take on a large cinema screen erected in the garden of the Consulate.

Audiences having waited seven years for the sequel to hit The Last Kiss (l’ultimo bacio). In the meantime Gabriele Muccino’s gone to Hollywood and back, buddying up with Will Smith and getting a lot of flak for it. But returning to his homeland, and in particular returning to the characters many came to know and love in The Last Kiss, was inevitable.
To remain true to time (and ageing faces), Muccino places the timeframe at 10 years past the events of the first film. Kiss Me Again still focuses on Carlo (Stefano Accorsi) and his relationship with Giulia (Vittoria Puccini), only now daughter Sveva (Sara Girolami) is what’s keeping them together in any form.

Guests are invited to bring friends, family, blankets, and a picnic and are encouraged to dress in their finest operatic picnic attire for an evening that promises to be full of culture and entertainment.

In case of rain or strong winds the screening is postponed to the evening of Sunday.
Each screening is free to the general public and will take on a large cinema screen erected in the garden of the Consulate.
