Trama

Al centro della storia la giovane coppia formata da Mario e Veronica che, pur di fare carriera, lasciano che il proprio rapporto sentimentale si logori col tempo. Nelle loro vite irrompe un piccolo dramma esistenziale, quando lei scopre di essere incinta nello stesso giorno in cui il marito viene a sapere di essere sterile.
Liberamente ispirato a “La Marchesa di O…” di Heinrich Von Kleist.

Plot

Beautiful and down-to-earth Veronica owns a clothes shop and is married to Mario, a fertiliser salesman. She has a suffocating and interfering mother who’s obsessed with becoming a grandmother. Mamma Luciana persuades them to take a fertility test and it is so that Veronica discovers that she is pregnant, but that Mario is sterile. The wife’s mysterious pregnancy puts the couple’s relationship to the test, as Mario seeks comfort in the arms of curvy lovers, while Veronica investigates on the “cause” of her pregnancy, with the help of Gabriele, a neighbourhood thug who’s secretly in love with her. Loosely based on the novel “The Marquis of O” by Heinrich von Kleist.
