In occasione delle festività natalizie, l’Altra Italia vi invita ad assistere ad un concerto dedicato al compositore italiano Antonio Vivaldi. Ad esibirsi la Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra che nel 2009 ha dedicato gran parte del suo lavoro all’Italia.
Ricordiamo il concerto organizzato per la raccolta fondi a favore dei terremotati dell’Abruzzo lo scorso giugno, presso l’Art Gallery of Ontario.

Al concerto seguirà la cena con i musicisti presso il ristorante Boccaccio.

On the occasion of the Christams Holidays, l’Altra Italia in collaboration with Centro Scuola e Cultura, invites you to the concert of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra - Vivaldi Four Season.
Now, in Toronto, from December 3 to 8, Italian virtuoso violinist Stefano Montanari will be the guest conductor and soloist for Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Of his Tafelmusik debut last fall, The Globe and Mail declared, “Stefano Montanari … electrified the musicians and had them playing as if heir lives and happiness depended on every twitch of his volatile elbow, very swish of his bow …”
Programme also to include selections from Galuppi, Albinoni, Tartini, Corelli, Geminiani and Locatelli.
Last June, the orchestra members donated their talent in a fundraising concert for the Abruzzo Earthquake Releif Fund, at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
